Saskatoon's premier (only) motorcycle show & extravaganza was held again a few weeks ago, and in my usual timey fashion i'm about 3 weeks late on posting pics up. I've entered a bike into the builder show the last 4 years but decided that I was much too busy (handsome) to bother this year. Actually i spent the winter working on everyone elses bikes rather than my own and was just as swamped trying to help the brothers get finished in time. As usual a great time was had as it is a local tradition to basically drink as much booze as possible all weekend long and talk bike for hours and hours on end. Heres some highlights, i'll post more pics and info on each bike when i get around to it.
apparently i havent uploaded all the pics off my camera it seems so i'll have vol.2 coming soon....

Oh no Rob.... whyd ya have to go do that
The Hells Angels are suing Rob Dyrdek's company and MTV -- claiming Y&R designed and sold a bunch of t-shirts that "bear a design confusingly similar to the [flaming skull logo]" ... and they never asked for permission.
I would be pissed at my design guy for sure!

Csik
My homeboy, brother and best friend, Darren "Csik" Wolfe is the mastermind and builder behind this crazy 73 CB550 chopper. I have had the privilege of being able to help out on a few things and see this bike in various stages over the last year and a half and i must say this man poured his heart out, rather then his wallet into this build. Anyone can call up all the right people, hand them a few dollars and have their dream bike built through various avenues but Darren took matters into his own hands. A bodyman by trade, and master painter at heart, he cut, ground, shaped, sprayed and wrenched on what started out as a hacked apart bone stock Honda cb550. He has more hours into the beautifully shaped headlight mount than most guys have in assembly alone. Csik is a freak about details. Hours mean nothing to him as anything less than perfect is a trajedy. Obviously the most striking detail of this sickle is the paint. From the start it had to be pink, sparkly and loud. Just to freak out all the bad boys bikers. Heavy flake laid down on the molded frame and then complemented with verigated gold leaf and hot pink stripes by none other then darren's partner in crime Shaun "Dekay" Decae. Csik and Dekay are the masterminds behind Konstrast studios, based out of Saskatoon. Custom paint, pinstriping, airbrushing, gold leaf they can do it all and are about as good as it gets in the business. I think the work they put into this canvas here speaks for it self.
Heres the full skinny on the bike:

Oakland nights
Came across this shot while browsing thru some posts on the JJ. Chris Lindig's Slab shovel in Oakland, CA at a recent gathering. I'd be lying if I said this bike wasn't influential when I was putting my pan-shovel together.
